They are simply incredible...top notch Eisner COLOR art in each reproduction, with a bonus plate containing sketches of the classic plate "Dead End" (pictured as one of the sample pics in this auction). The cover is a blue hardbound "canvas" style book cover, with a gold embossed Spirit drawing/logo. This hardbound collection has beautiful pencil reproductions on the inside covers, as well. There are 11 plates, with a 12th containing text by Eisner as well as some photos of the master himself hard at work. Each piece is exclusive to this portfolio!! The prints are 12 x 16, and Will Eisner himself signed and numbered the first plate of each edition. There are only 1500 units in this edition, and as you can imagine there weren't many left when we acquired this astonishing collection of vintage comic art prints.
